Good afternoon, Troop!

Next month is our annual family campout at Mohican Wilderness. For those that are new to the troop, this is an event that we attend every year which encourages families and scouts to participate in camping, canoeing, a torch-light hike to an old cemetery, ghost stories, a costume party and more. This is also a recruiting event where we invite Webelos from Pickerington packs to join us in the fun.

We will depart Friday evening 10/7, and return Sunday morning 10/9. The cost for this event is $30 per person. Permission slip is attached. The due date for the permission slip and money is 9/29.

If you can not, then please let me know and I will collect it from you on 9/15. We will be paying the final fees to River Expeditions at the end of this week.

When the troop leaders arrives on Sunday June 19 to depart for summer camp would you please move the trailer to Spence Funeral Home parking lot to the far side near the street with a traffic light. I believe that I heard that leaders and Scouts are to arrive at 7:00am.

When the scouts arrive have them meet by the trailer at Spence Funeral Home. Doing this will eliminate any possible parking lot issues that may be experienced for the 8:00 Mass Sunday morning and allow for parking for parents who wish to remain until departure.

The biggest flow of traffic occurs between 7:30 and 7:45 for the 8:00 Mass. Do not use the part of Spence's parking lot near to the church. That is used for overflow parking for Seton.

Our May event is the Spring Camporee at Camp Falling Rock. It will be a fun weekend full of activities put on by the Tri-Creek District. Cost for the event is $25/person. I will need the permission slips and money by April 28th so I can meet the registration deadline with the district. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Troop,
I apologize for the late notice. Our spring sports campout is coming up on 4/22-4/24 at Camp Madison Lake in London, Ohio. It will be a fun weekend of sports activities and team building. The cost for the event is $15/person. Please return the attached permission slip and money by this Thursday 4/14. If for some reason you can't make it this Thursday then please email me and let me know so I can get the final counts for attendance.

Just a reminder the week have a Court of Honor on April 21. It will be held in the church hall where we had the last one. Enter through the main doors of the church.

Thank you to all who have turned in their orders and payments for the mulch fundraiser! If you haven't turned yours in yet, you can still do it this weekend. Please call or text Stephanie at 614-406-4268 to arrange a time to turn them in this weekend. We need to submit our final order to Ohio Mulch early next week so we need all your orders!

This also gives you an extra day or two to get any last-minute orders! If you've already turned in your forms and you get any additional orders just let me know and we'll get them added to your totals. Feel free to give Stephanie or me (614-506-1866) a call if you have any questions.

Our New Scout Campout is coming up next and will be at Chief Logan Reservation in Ray, Ohio. This is an important campout as it provides the new Boy Scouts who have just crossed over an introduction to our troop. The PLC has planned a fun weekend, so please plan on attending. The permission slip is due by March 3rd and cost for the weekend is $15/person.

Use main church door when entering and leaving the building

February 11 2016 Meeting in Herrmann Hall

The troop meeting on February 11 will be in Herrman Hall, which is the same place the last Court of Honor was held. Scouts are to enter the building using the main doors to the church. Do not use either of the doors in the education wing of the building. Please enter in silence remembering it is a place of worship.  - from Mr. Richards
